Born and raised in New Castle County. A Journeyman Millwright by trade with a fond appreciation of firearms and our rights. I started this Company because I wanted to do something that I really had a passion for. This has turned out to be so much more rewarding than I ever could have imagined. I firmly believe that this is my calling and I enjoy every day of it.
My goals are to better my family’s safety and security and to create a safer community through training and responsible firearms usage and ownership. We are educating entire families and our community to be more situationally aware and to understand how to responsibly protect themselves.
I currently have 20+ years experience in the firearms community and the majority of my formal training has been through the United States Concealed Carry Association (USCCA).

Shawn Turner is a dedicated husband and father of two with a passion for firearms education and advocacy.
As a certified USCCA and multi-discipline firearms instructor, he is committed to promoting responsible gun ownership and safety.
With a professional background as a skilled refrigeration technician, he brings a detail-oriented and hands-on approach to both his trade and his firearms training.
A proud advocate of the Second Amendment, Shawn strives to empower individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary for self-defense and responsible firearm use.

Lauren Steward
Born and raised in Delaware, Lauren Steward is a passionate advocate for both gun rights and responsible gun ownership. As an avid outdoorswoman, wife, and mother, Lauren brings a unique, relatable perspective to firearms instruction—especially for women navigating the world of personal protection and concealed carry.
Certified as a firearms instructor since 2023, Lauren quickly recognized that firearms training is not one-size-fits-all. Women face different threats, carry in different ways, and often have different priorities when it comes to personal safety. That’s why she has dedicated her focus to Ladies-Only classes, creating a comfortable and empowering environment where women can learn at their own pace and ask questions without pressure.
Lauren’s teaching style is approachable, informative, and tailored to the specific needs of her students—whether they're new to firearms or looking to build on existing skills. Her mission is simple: to ensure every woman feels confident, capable, and safe when it comes to firearm use and self-defense.
